The Oregon Trail Community Foundation was established in 1977 to serve the philanthropic needs of residents of Western Nebraska, as well as Goshen and Platte counties in Wyoming. As a community foundation, OTCF offers grants, scholarships and other services to organizations and individuals through funds provided by donations, bequests, trusts and other financial vehicles.

The Panhandle Area Development District (PADD) was organized in 1973. It is a voluntary organization of member local governments and private sector representatives working together to improve the economy and quality of life in their communities and the Panhandle region.

Twin Cities Development Association, Inc.

Twin Cities Development Association, Inc. (TCD) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1985 as the successor to the Scottsbluff/Gering Payroll Development Foundation. TCD is the economic development organization for the Scottsbluff/Gering area in the southern Panhandle of Nebraska.

TCD was formed to work with prospective and existing industries to stimulate new investments and create new job opportunities for the community. The Board of Directors is comprised of 9 private sector individuals from various community interests, with those from the public sector serving as Ex-Officio Members of the Board.

Box Butte Development Corporation

Help to successfully foster the development of entrepreneurial and small business ventures as well as to enhance and diversify the economy of Box Butte County.

Office equipment is provided with computer and internet access also. Business planning help provided. Contact with local REAP group named Western Entrepreneurs Support Team (WEST).

Business Assistance Center (Business Incubator) started in 1994.

NBDC is an educational service desgined to help business owners, especially small and medium-sized businesses, compete more evenly with larger firms that have the resources to employ similar consulting services.

Provide management assistance in the areas of business planning, marketing research to new and existing businesses in Nebraska. Program objectives include creating wealth, employment, increasing sales and profits for the businesses served.

NBDC provides consulting services through service centers in Omaha, Kearney, Lincoln, Norfolk, North Platte, Scottsbluff, and Wayne, Nebraska.
