The Midlands Venture Forum is the primary vehicle that enables entrepreneurs, investors and service providers to collaborate. Formed in December of 2000, the Midlands Venture Forum is a 501c3 non-profit corporation that creates regional support for entrepreneurs in the Midlands by providing the necessary educational tools to new businesses.
Midlands Venture Forum is a networking resource and educational non-profit 501c3 organization. We serve entrepreneurs, investors, and service providers from in the Midlands which is defined by us as Des Moines on the east, Sioux City on the north; Grand Island/Hastings on the west, and Kansas City on the south. These three groups come together at our dinners and educational luncheons to get better acquainted.
We have approximately 8 MVF Networking Dinner events per year with prominent entrepreneurial speakers and 3-4 educational luncheons on various topics. At our dinners usually 2 entrepreneurs get the opportunity to present their companies to our audience which ranges from 50 to 150 people. We have been in existence for approximately 5 years and are privately funded with sponsorships from various business organizations in Omaha.
