The Entrepreneurship Center at Central Community College offers workshops, seminars and other events to educate and promote business ownership in the communities that it serves.
The rewards of being your own boss are great, but so are the challenges. If you want to own your own business, Central Community College offers entrepreneurship education to help you develop the skills needed to get started. You can learn about opportunity analysis, marketing, finance, taxes, legal issues, and even develop a business plan.
A nine-semester-hour endorsement also is offered to provide basic entrepreneurship skills. Students in any CCC program who want to open their own business in the future can complete the certificate as part of their associate of applied science degree or diploma. Entrepreneurs can complete the three courses as a stand-alone certificate.
