Minden Economic Development

The Minden Economic Development Program, formed in 2007, serves as the lead economic development organization for Minden, Nebraska in Kearney County. The organization’s overall goals are to foster and encourage responsible, sustainable economic development activities that result in job creation, job retention, increases to the tax base and improved quality of life for the citizens of Minden.

We provide services and financial resources to help entrepreneurs with new businesses and to help our existing businesses grow and prosper. Businesses in the City of Minden and Kearney County have access to Revolving Loans Funds developed from CDBG grants received from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development. These funds are used for low interest loans available to entrepreneurs with new businesses and expanding existing businesses.
